| Title: | Phase II Study of Gemzar, Taxotere and Xeloda (GTX) for Adjuvant Pancreatic

| Description: | GTX is a combination of Gemcitabine, Taxotere and Xeloda, which has been shown to be synergistic in laboratory models. The primary aim of this study is to determine whether there is any toxicity associated with the new regimen. |
| Criteria: | Inclusion Criteria:
1. 18-75 years old
2. Histologically confirmed pancreatic adenocarcinoma which has been completely resected
3. No prior chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer
4. No prior radiation to the area of the tumor
5. Ineligible for other high priority national or institutional studies
6. Time from surgical recovery greater than 3 weeks, but less than 6 weeks
7. All radiological evaluations must be performed within 4 weeks prior to the start of study therapy
8. If of childbearing potential, must consent to using effective contraception while on treatment and for a reasonable period thereafter
Exclusion Criteria:
1. Prior malignancies in the last 5 years
2. Serious medical or psychiatric illness preventing informed consent
3. HIV positive
4. Prior enrollment in investigational trials
5. History of hypersensitivity to Taxotere or other similar drug (formulated with polysorbate 80) |
