Psychotherapies for PTSD

Purpose

The purpose of this study is to compare three psychotherapies that take different approaches to treating the symptoms of PTSD. Treatments will be assigned randomly (as by the flip of a coin), will be provided by expertly trained therapists, and will last 14 weeks. We will ask you to attend interviews and fill out forms during and 3 months after the study so that we can see how and why these treatments worked.

Eligibility

Ages Eligible for Study: 18 Years - 65 Years
Genders Eligible for Study: Both
This study is not recruiting Healthy Volunteers.

Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:
1. Age 18-65
2. Primary diagnosis of DSM-IV PTSD, chronic
3. CAPS score >50 for at least 3 months
4. Willingness and ability to give informed consent
