Purpose

The goal is to see whether DHEA, classified by the FDA as a nutritional supplement, is helpful in reducing depressive symptoms in older HIV+ patients with non-major depression.

Inclusion Criteria:
HIV+
age 50-75
medically stable
primary care doctor approves study participation
dysthymia or minor depression
willing and able to give informed consent
