A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of Dronabinol in the Treatment of Marijuana Dependence
Please refer to this study by identifier 4886

Principal Investigator(s)
Frances Levin

Purpose

We propose a 12 week, double-blind, placebo-controlled treatment trial testing the agonist dronabinol in conjunction with a psychosocial intervention targeting symptoms of irritability. We hypothesize that reducing withdrawal symptoms will result in greater retention in treatment and lead to higher rates of abstinence in treatment-seeking marijuana users.
