Purpose
We are conducting a research study to determine if our psychotherapy can successfully treat depression in pregnancy. This therapy is shown to be as effective as medications for depression and is specifically designed for pregnancy. After childbirth, we follow mothers to see if they need treatment for postpartum depression and to evaluate how their mood affects bonding with their baby.
