Purpose

This is a clinical trial that will evaluate the efficacy of a specific type of combined psychotherapy called Motivational Enhancement / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a medication called Naltrexone for the treatment of problem drinking in gay and bisexual men in NYC. This study is different than other alcohol treatment studies conducted in the past in that we promote moderation.
