Research Summary

Dr. Tycko's lab is pursuing several different lines of research:

1) the epigenetics and genetics of Wilms tumors, acute myeloid leukemias, and other human cancers.

2) the identities and the physiological functions of imprinted genes.

3) the genetic and epigenetic basis for phenotypes in Down syndrome. His lab also collaborates with others at Columbia to study the population genetics of Alzheimer's disease.
