Resident Assessment and Program Evaluation

The ACGME requires all programs to assess residents’ attainment of competency based objectives. The ACGME also requires programs to conduct an annual program evaluation to review program goals, objectives, and effectiveness with which these goals and objectives were achieved. Resource materials for planning and implementing both resident assessments and program evaluation can be found below.
